The collection is crafted with a combination of the finest fabrics and trims available using luxuriously beaded French laces, custom embroideries, smooth satins & crisp taffetas. The final touches are in the details and trimmings; they must create a delicate balance between elegance & simplicity. In fall of 2009, Aria introduced its first bridal collection for Spring / Summer 2010. Presented at New York's Waldorf Astoria Hotel, the pure silk wedding gowns adhere to Tak's concepts of style and fit, quality and affordability. The collection is made entirely made in the U.S.A. in Los Angeles to maintain quality control.

Exhibiting early design talent, Tak attended Brooks College, Long Beach, CA, for fashion design, and was named a Rising Star by the California Apparel News (CAN). Friends often asked him to make them a dress, which grew into a small business for private clients and boutiques. He has also supplied styles for television shows and movies.

In 2001, Tak launched Ariadress online and with a showroom in Los Angeles. There was such immediate success for his very with-it, figure flattering bridesmaid dress collection, that he's now gone down the aisle in over 10,000 modern weddings.

Kathleen "Dolly" Thicke was born June 10, 1972 in Walnut Creek, California. Known mostly as the founder of Dolly Couture short wedding dresses and ShortWeddingDress.com. Her gowns feature cocktail length skirts that are full, reminiscent of the short wedding dresses of the late 1950s and early 1960s.

Dolly Couture started in 2005 when, despite an emergence of shorter wedding dresses, she could not find a gown for her own wedding that resembled her mother's 1961 gown. A dress that was cocktail length, yet might still be considered very formal with a full petticoat, beaded neckline and soft rolling fabric. Ispired by the idea that other brides may want to kick up their heels in a wedding dress that was short, but still formal, Dolly Couture emerged. Her original gowns were upwards of $1000 and each hand made. Demand for her designs lead to factory production and what might be considered budget-friendly prices.

Dolly Couture has most notably appeared on Martha Stewart Weddings Magazine, Dancing with the Stars - ABC, Red Carpet Fashion Commentaries on the E! network, and Whose Wedding is it Anyway on the Style Network.

Patty has been making wedding dresses since 2006 but found the large need for eco friendly gowns. So many brides were having organic catering, and were using recycled paper, but they were not able to buy a sustainable dress.

Patty, who loves her green lifestyle, wants to help all eco brides to get their dream dress. Through ongoing research Patty is continually finding sustainable options for traditional bridal fabrics.
